Yomi Adegboye (born April 10, 1973) is a mobile and web enthusiast, speaker, writer, multi-talented and fun-loving person!
Yomi is the founder and Editor of Mobility blog, a blog covering mobile technology and culture in Nigeria and elsewhere. Fondly called Mister Mobility by followers, Yomi is widely acclaimed as one of the leading lights in the mobile technology sector and one of the most influential Nigerians on the Internet.
Biography
Yomi grew up in Western Nigeria, attended Federal Government College, Odogbolu and then the University of Lagos, Akoka from where he graduated with Bachelor of Environmental Science and Bachelor of Architecture.
In 2003, four years after graduation, Adegboye founded DomainStandard.net (later Alireta.com), a webhosting service which was sold to Web4Africa in 2011. In between, he had started Mobility blog in 2008, though he had been actively involved in mobile technology since 2001.
Yomi is a multi-talented person (and regarded as a genius in certain circles). He draws and paints portraits and comic books; designs gadgets, décor, buildings, and fashion items; writes; sings; dances; acts; and plays a couple of music instruments. As far back as when he was a junior secondary student, he produced comic books, wrote unpublished manuscripts, and had at least one of his articles published in a national daily.
Professionally, Yomi does mobile consulting, website and mobile web design. He is a public speaker and anchor, and writes for Mobility blog and other web-based and print publications. He has a number of book titles in the pipeline.

Yomi Adegboye rose to internet prominence with his fast-growing blog, Mobility blog, which has grown to be the number one blog in Nigeria in terms of both quality of content and traffic. Mobility blog also has a strong but smaller international following.
